Ingredients
-
4 medium ripe avocados, halved and pitted
-
1/2 cup red onion (about 1/2 onion), finely chopped/diced
-
2 roma tomatoes, chopped/diced
-
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
-
1 small jalapeño, seeds removed, finely chopped
-
2 Tbsp lime juice (from 1-2 limes)
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1/2 tsp sea salt (plus more if needed)
-
1/2 tsp cumin
-
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a mixing bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork and make it as chunky or smooth as you'd like. I like my guacamole a bit chunky!
Add the remaining ingredients, and stir together. Give it a taste test and add more salt, cumin, or lime juice if needed.
Serve the guacamole with freshly chopped veggies like cucumbers, radishes, carrots, celery sticks, and bell peppers!
